Eva Carneiro
Chelsea capitulate; they want none of this to come out into the public domain.

Hilarious.

When I say he is still there I mean he is still working for Chelsea not still sitting in the away area for coaches & staff at Upton Park
That would be a bit odd

Re: Eva Carneiro
It is a dirty cynical game, but Chelsea engaged her in it and she won. I can't understand why any ordinary person would be against someone having a bit of recourse against a company who treated an employee very badly for doing her job as she was meant to have.

Live by the sword, die by the sword.

Re: Eva Carneiro
As for her being a bloke .... the physio Jon Fearn was the other one who ran on the pitch who was demoted.
He actually returned to the first team bench for the game against us at UP and presumably is still there.
On his old salary with no payout

Re: Eva Carneiro
To be fair, I was a bit scathing of the settlement and how this was conducted but from reading more on it, it does appear the Chelsea were a bunch of cunts (I should have known better!) and treated her far badly that I initially thought.

She deserved something for losing her job, so good on her for that, and had Chelsea done the right thing in the first place it wouldn’t have cost them as much or with such negative publicity as it did, she did milk it but cant blame her for that given the circumstance..

If it was a bloke though, im sure it would have been dealt with quietly and even if it hadn’t the pay out would be a lot smaller and the publicity a lot less, equality in pay, or in this case compensation works the other way for men with thing like this…………………

Why not?
Why do you resent anothers apparent good fortune?

Because this isn't government related and Chelsea made it a very public issue?

Why should she get compo?

What a horrible cunt of a club and manager.

Yep - and then compounded it with the breathtakingly stupid effective demotion (while not making it actual, which in turn made it constructive dismissal).

Re: Eva Carneiro
Chelsea and JM were dead in the water the second the ref (a ref who actually made a correct decision, no less) called EC onto the pitch.

Took them 10 (TEN) months and mega bullying to climb down. They should be castigated by the press.

I would have loved to see a televised trial and someone reading 'The Duties of a Doctor' to Jose's face

Anyone who thinks they can bully Miss O'Rourke would be very unpleasantly surprised.

Couldn't agree more, an absolute disgrace. I was about to put that link up myself, excellent article. Utter scum.

Their behaviour on Monday, where they again tried to undermine her reputation, was just appalling. And appallingly stupid too. Did they really think she would fold as a result after all she's been through ? Blindingly obvious she wouldn't and that if she took the stand on Tuesday they were dead in the water. And all that for a few quid.

The only thing worse than a cunt is a stupid cunt.

Re: Eva Carneiro
Chelsea's behaviour has been a disgrace. They took her right up to the point where she would have taken the stand, then folded because they could not afford to have her testify against them. Both Mourinho and Chelsea tried to bully the shit out of her.

Re: Eva Carneiro
Agree with Pedant. She's given them a proper shoeing here, deservedly so, and is laughing all the way to the bank. Disgraceful behaviour by a man proven many times over to be a cunt of the first order.

The Chelsea presser must make good reading for her.

Shame really as I was looking forward to 2 days of testimony from her absolutely trouncing that shitheap club and the cunts they employ. Obviously, was never going to happen but would have been fun.

Re: Eva Carneiro
Just watched the video of Carneiro and Jose's respective exits from the tribunal yesterday, a proper scrum.

Even a cunt of his stature has to realise he's made a cunt of himself after that.

The reason all this happened is because either Jose had not done the Chelsea online HR course on 'How to manage employees', or there was no-one on th bench from HR at the time.

Either way, Jose broke the rules, failed to admit he didn't know the rules and then got Chelski dumped in court with a ticking time bomb.

I wonder what clause was included in his severance document regarding this court case?

Re: Eva Carneiro

She stood firm, got an unreserved apology from the club and what she deemed a suitable pay out. The club must have been convinced she was not going to blink and had to put up. I reckon that is standing firm, pragmatically.

She didn't stand firm though. Should've taken them to court.
